Seven Runs for the Rescue
Feb 24th - As snow covered the area on Thursday, Squad 41 was kept busy with 5 accidents and 2 chimney fires. The "Big House" ran to I-81 mm19 at 1308 hours MVA, 832 Forest Rd at 1320 hours chimney fire, I-81 mm15 at 1410 hours MVA, 1600 block Sollenberger Rd at 1420 hours MVA, I-81 mm14 at 1711 hours MVA, 36 Meadow Dr at 1951 hours chimney fire, and I-81 mm18 at 2113 hours MVA.

Twins Go In Service
Feb 4th - The "Big House" placed the second Twin in service today. The 2004 E-One engines are equipped with a 2000 GPM pump, 750 gallon tank, and a 6 man C2 cab.
Squad Is "Doin' It" Again
Feb 4th - Members got a wake up call this morning at 0752 hours for the auto accident with rollover and triple entrapment. Squad 41 arrived in the 2600 block of Edenville Rd to find a mini van vs a pick up. DC 47 found 2 children trapped in the van and one adult being self extricated from a pick up that was laying on its side. The "Big House" extricated the first patient that was pinned by the sliding door. This patient was extricated within 3 minutes. The second patient was pinned in the front passenger seat and was extricated 3 minutes after the first patient. Drivers of both vehicles were also transported. |
