Nine Runs Make For Busy Thursday
July 21st - Crews started the day with the MVA pictured below at 0836 hours in the 2500 blk of Lawyer Rd. The day would bring a total of 3 accidents including 1 with confinement with Co 17. SQ41 responded to 2135 Wayne Rd at 1618 hours and assisted with removal of the drivers door. Command 17 placed SQ41 in service at 1638 hours. |

Two Fires In One Hour
July 9th - The "Big House" handled two fires at the same time today. First SQ41 responded to 1050 Coldbrook Ave at 1307 hours for the house. Members from Station 4 found a kitchen off and used a line from E1-1 to quickly contain the fire. SQ41's crew searched, vented and overhauled after assisting with the attack line. SQ41 and E1-4 were released by Command 1 at 1324 hours to respond to a second fire in the Boro.
Just 17 minutes after the first fire, E43, T42, SQ41 and E1-4(staffed by Station 4) responded to 343 Philadelphia Ave for a garage fire. E43 arrived with a garage well off. Crews from E43, E1-4 and SQ41 advanced 2 lines to contain the fire. The "Big House" cleared the second fire at 1446 hours.
