then cleared at 1940 hours. Finally, E43 finished the day with a

Firefighters Make Rescue
June
18th -
Members of the "Big House"
rescued a victim from a mobile home fire at 2108 hours Saturday night.
This is the third rescue in 11 months for the
"Big House".
E45 and T42 responded to 1069 LWW lot #6 for a mobile home fire with
entrapment. AC49 assumed Command 44. Units confirmed a working fire upon
arrival. Bystanders told crews that someone came home just before the
fire broke out. E45 stretched 2 lines to the front door as crews began
to search. As the fire was knocked down, C46 and AC48 located a victim
in the bedroom. The patient was turned over to EMS and would later be
air lifted to a burn unit. The fire was controlled in 10 minutes.
Twenty-one volunteer firefighters from Station 4 cleared the scene at
2314 hours.
