First Due Restaurant Fire

May 30th - After returning from the working fire in Fayetteville, the BIG HOUSE was on the road again responding to a first due commercial assignment at 2301hrs for a reported building fire at 3218 Lincoln Way West.  AC 49 (Greenlaw) arrived on the scene with a working fire in a 1 story 40x100 restaurant and established Command 44.  Sgt. 44 (Kelly) had interior operations.  E45 arrived and quickly forced entry and went to work placing a line in service.  Crews found heavy fire in the kitchen and cockloft area.  17 Truck arrived and opened up the cockloft and mansard area.  Water supply was established by ET18.  Crews from 13, 18, and 7 assisted with extensive overhaul.  Units secured the area until the arrival of the fire investigator.  The BIG HOUSE cleared the scene at 0233hrs.
