Busy Night

January 29th - Members responded to 6 runs overnight. E43 started with an Odor of Gas in the 2300 block of Philadelphia Ave at 1:14am. A Box Alarm for a reported house fire came out at 3:56am sending E43 and E45 to 6180 Harshman Rd. Co 8 reported good intent and returned all units. Shortly after returning to the station E43 and SQ41 responded to I-81 SB at mm20 for a Tractor Trailer Fire. Units arrived at 4:46am to find the cab well off. E43 knocked the fire down then remained on scene with Co 7 for overhaul til 5:55am. As soon as Station 4 marked in service, Communications alerted E43 and SQ41 for a MVA in the 6500 block of Fort McCord Rd. Units found one vehicle rolled over and back on its wheels. EMS transported 1. SQ41 remained on that incident just long enough to miss another MVA before returning to service at 6:33am. Crews were cleaning up from the truck fire when a MVA was dispatched at 7:12am in the 3100 block of Black Gap Rd. Co 7 units were committed on a prior MVA so E43 and SQ41 were alerted. SQ41 found a dump truck into the side of a passenger car. SQ41 almost made it back to quarters before a Box Alarm was sounded for an apartment fire at 205 Macintosh Way. Members arrived at 7:45am and found another good intent call.

Shed Fires

Another Fly Out On Black Gap Rd

January 25th - Station 4 responded to 6 runs on the 24th and 3 runs before noon on the 25th including this MVA with entrapment in the 2700 block of Black Gap Rd. Co 7 units arrived to find two autos head on with one trapped. E7-1 removed the drivers door and displaced the dash to free the patient.
