Live-Ins

“The A-Team”

Station 4 has a long and proud tradition of having the station staffed 24/7 by a crew of “Live-In” members. These

members come from all walks of life and include dispatchers, college students,  trade workers, and career firefighters. To become a Live-In member, there are a number of requirements and duties that are expected of every member of the Live-In crew, regardless of age or seniority. Because of the Live-Ins status and the amount of calls run, the crew is usually called upon in any number of circumstances to take the lead in training, fire scenes, and on station.
